Reciprocal IVF (co-maternity)
WHAT DOES IT ENTAIL?
The Reciprocal IVF (co-maternity) method allows a couple formed by women to both participate in obtaining a pregnancy. One of them undergoes ovarian stimulation and provides the oocytes that are fertilized with sperm from an anonymous donor in the lab.
Formed embryos are transferred to the uterus of the other woman, who will carry out the pregnancy and give birth.
When is it recommended?
- Couple of women who both wish to participate in the process of obtaining a pregnancy

- Normal uterine cavity (recipient mother)
- Good ovarian reserve (donor mother)
